Chef Simone Tognetti

Chef Simone Tognetti started his very first experience in the culinary world in 2005 when he was only 15 years old at the restaurant "Castello di Casiglio" in Erba, Italy. At that time he didn’t know that a simple internship was going to turn into the job of his life.

Once finished the High School Diploma in Cooking Management in Monza, he had the opportunity to work at 5* "Four Seasons" Hotel in Milan with renowned Chef Sergio Mei, who transmitted to him the passion for this job.

After this experience Chef Simone worked together with Chef Manuel Poli at the "Papillon Catering", in Milan.

From 2007 to 2009 he joined two different luxury hotels: the 4* "Sheraton Diana Majestic" in Milan with Chef Paolo Croce and the 4* "Hotel De La Ville" , in Monza.

After gaining experiences in the hospitality sector, he approached for the first time the kitchen of a Michelin restaurant, the "12/24" of the 4* "Devero" Hotel, with Chef Luca Brasi and Chef Enrico Bartolini, in Cavenago Brianza.

In 2010, he was Logistic Director of the school "Accademia Del Gusto" in Bergamo.

In 2011, Chef Simone started his culinary journey abroad, the first step of a long travel worldwide that let him become the Chef of today.

He moved to Paris, where he worked for one year on the Champs Élisées at the "Nolita" restaurant, with Chef Vittorio Beltramelli.

In 2012 he travelled to Algarve, in Portugal, to work at the **Michelin "Villa Joya" restaurant, with Chef Dieter Koschina. That same year the "Villa Joya" restaurant was nominated 22nd best restaurant in the world.

In 2013 Chef Simone moved to Pipa in Brazil, to join the "Aqui" restaurant and to enjoy the South American lifestyle.

After the Brazilian experience he moved to the little Bermuda island where he worked at the fine dining "The Point" at Rosewood Tucker's Point Resort 5*.

Back to Europe in 2015, Chef Simone was the Head Chef on a Private Motor Yacht sailing the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of the season, he moved back to Portugal at the ***Michelin, "Gusto by Heinz Beck" at the Conrad Algarve Hotel 5*, in Faro.

In 2016, Chef Simone travelled downunder to Australia, to join "The View" restaurant at "Noosa Pepper's" Resort" in Queensland and other few restaurants in Sydney, NSW as Head Chef Consultant. In 2018 he was Head Chef at Hotel Jardin Tecina in La Gomera island, Spain.

In 2019 Simone was Executive Chef at "Hell's Kitchen restaurant" at ForteVillage Resort in Sardinia while in 2021 is Executive Chef at Villa Arcadio, Boutique Hotel on the coast of Lake Garda.

Chef Simone has a particular vision of the culinary world. Genuine, healthy, creative and impactful are the basic rules of his art.

The skills and abilities developped all around the world, let him took part, in partnership with Valeria Mosca Caglio from Wooding*, ​to one of the most internationally renowned culinary exhibition, "Identità Golose" held in Milan, in March 2016.
