
Beetroot
When we cook beetroots we often throw away more than a half of them.
Have you ever thought to use the steams instead to make a beautiful beetroot jam?
Don't waste your food, use it in a different way!
Ingredients:
150 g of coconut sugar
1/2 kg of beetroot steams
70 ml of raspberry vinegar
5 Jamaican pepper grains
Cut the beetroot steams in little cubes and mix them with 150 g of coconut sugar
Squeeze one lemon and put all together to boil
Let them boil for around 20 minutes
Add some black cardamom
Keep mixing it
Put your beetroot steams in the mixer
Here is your beetroot jam
