Heart leaf is a kind of Ice plant that grows wild on the Aussi East coast. It’s a succulent plants  rich in vitamins A and B whose flowers and leaves are both edible.

 

Growing close to the sea it contains a lot quantity of water and mineral salt.

 

Try its leaves raw or cooked as a new addition to your salad plates.
