Ice Plant naturally grows wild along the sea in sand dunes and sea weed deposits. 


It contains a lot quantity of water and therefore it’s a low calorie vegetable. It is rich in vitamins A, B and C and mineral salts.


The leaves can be used raw or cooked. Try it adding to your salads, it will give a refreshing flavour. with a salty note.


The juice of ice plant leaves has antiseptic properties and it can be used for infections or resolve digestive problems.
